Dear Compassionate Nurse,

I get it.  I’ve been there.  I know what it feels like to take better care of everyone except yourself - and feeling guilty when you put yourself first.

I’m Sandy Goodwin, a fellow Nurse, and I show Nurses how to break the stress cycle simply and effectively, so you can relax, re-energize, and feel good again.

Stress doesn't occur in a straight "cause and effect" line, it's actually a cycle.  What I call the Stress Cycle includes your Thoughts and your Emotions, which lead to Actions (either pro-active or reactive).  So to break the stress cycle effectively, you need to address all these areas. 


When talking about how stress affects your life and health, I like to use a "cup" analogy.  Think of it this way -  you have a cup (your body) and this cup contains your life energy.  This cup of energy naturally drains a little all day long, just to keep your body alive.  But the more you do, give, and expend, the faster it drains.  If you don't fill up often, it will drain out.  It will be "exhausted" of energy.  Sound familiar?  Filling up means taking care of yourself, not just when it's convenient or when you get to it, but every day.

Nurses bring so much comfort and joy to others, and I want you to do the same for yourself.
I’m on a mission to help Nurses, just like you, release & reduce their stress, prevent burnout, and take as good care of themselves as they do for their patients.

To be a successful Nurse, it takes intelligence, diligence, and compassion. YOU have that, and apply it every day to take good care of others.  YOU can choose to do the same for yourself!
